Repeat prescriptions

To order a repeat prescription

  • Use your Patient Access account (on the Patient Access website or in the Patient Access app).
  • Use the repeat ordering slip on your previous prescription. Leave it at the surgery or post it to us. If you prefer, we can post it back to you (you will need to provide a stamped, addressed envelope).

If you are unable to use the above methods for ordering your prescription you may telephone on 01475 608888.  From July 2023, this line will be open Monday to Friday from 8am – 12.30pm and 1.30pm – 6pm.  Please ensure you have all your personal and prescription details ready when leaving your request on the answering service.

No matter which method you use to order your prescription we ask that you provide the name of which pharmacy you wish it to be sent to to reduce the queues at our reception desk.

Please avoid phoning the practice to check if your prescription is ready.  Our phone lines are very busy and it is important that staff are not tied up searching for prescriptions which have been ordered less than 72hrs before.  You should arrange to collect your prescription at pharmacy after that time and if there are any issues you can then contact the surgery for any queries.  Please always ensure to order your prescription the week it would be due to run out to ensure you have plenty of time to order and collect.

For information on how to register for online services please go to our Online Services page. There are a number of terms and conditions for using the repeat prescription ordering service. These will be provided when you collect your registration form.

Online ordering is available 24hrs a day, 7 days a week.  Please remember we require longer to process prescriptions ordered outwith our opening times as staff are unable to process prescription requests when we are closed.

Medication reviews

We are keen to ensure that patients with ongoing medical problems are monitored regularly. If the date for your next review with a doctor or nurse has passed you may be asked to make an appointment.
