Please leave your request for a repeat prescription in the postbox in the surgery or post it in the mail. Tick the items you need on the right-hand section of your previous prescription form. Your prescription will be ready for collection after 48 working hours. Any requests received on a Friday, will be ready the following Tuesday. If you prefer, we can post it back to you (you will need to provide a stamped, addressed envelope). Alternatively, you could contact your local chemist who may be willing to collect the prescription for you, given sufficient notice. Please note that any collection service is provided by the chemist and not the practice, therefore you should ensure you contact the chemist to arrange collection after each order is made.
Online repeat prescriptions can now be ordered once you register online using Patient Access for repeat prescriptions. To register for online services please attend the surgery with a form of photo ID in the first instance to allow your registration form to be issued for collection. There are a number of terms and conditions for using the repeat prescription ordering service. These will be provided when you collect your registration form.
If you are unable to use the above methods for ordering your prescription you may telephone on 01475 608888. This line is open 24hrs a day, Monday to Friday. Please ensure you have all your personal and prescription details ready when leaving your request on the answering service.
We are keen to ensure that patients with ongoing medical problems are monitored regularly. If the date for your next review with a doctor or nurse has passed you may be asked to make an appointment.
